Is Coaching worth the investment?

ree

So, of course I am going to say yes- being someone who has been coached, and has undertaken a qualification with the Institute of leadership and Management, to become a fully qualified coach...

But spending money on ourselves can feel self-indulgent, and there are always other things to spend money on of course- so why choose coaching?

Allowing yourself time and space:

Truly, you see things clearer when you give yourself the time to work on yourself. I am not talking physically or working yourself extra hard in your job, I mean really looking at yourself and what you need in the long term, or in a short-term problem that you can't see a way out of. A good coach listens to you, what you are and are not saying, and questions you in a way that increases your self- awareness but also your accountability. It is only when we stop, and think, and question, that we give ourselves the space to find our way into or out of the situations we want.

Coaching for performance:

There is a reason all of the top leaders choose to have coaching. They recognise that growth and development happen through supportive challenge and through self- discovery. They know that you can only grow when you accept what you need to do to develop and improve. Coaching not only allows you the space, it also makes you accountable to yourself- you are investing in yourself, you have your goals- now go out and start achieving them!

Unlocking what is blocking you:

There is not a person on the planet who doesn't hold themselves back at times. This is human nature, and our worries or past mistakes can mean we are more careful, or we doubt ourselves going forward. But what if this blocker stops you being heard in meetings? What is the fear of rejection stops you reaching your potential? What if you find yourself time and again being taken advantage of? Coaching looks at your blocks, and helps you recognise where you can make changes. A supportive coach gives you the confidence to start trying different approaches, from the comfort of a psychologically safe space. The coach, encourages you, but also asks you questions that look into your experiences and start to see things differently, more clearer if you like.

Value yourself:

Whatever reason you have found yourself here, know that you are worthy of some time, space, encouragement and investment. I offer a variety of packages to suit your budget, offer great value, and provide all my potential clients with a short no-cost chemistry session- so we can both see how we will work together. If it's not for you, there is no obligation to continue.

There are so many reasons why I believe in the power of coaching. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
